I was going to make an anti-smoochy thing as controversion to everybody's "omg love valentines day" submissions... xD But then I came up with this idea and yeah.
The red things are supposed to be rose-petals. The bg is supposed to be sheets. xD But I've never drawn sheets before, soyeah.
I know that this is far from perfect. Not only are there many imperfections, but I don't like how the gradient shading turned out. I should really try find another tutorial, because I'm a bit clueless which parts you are supposed to fade and which not... :\
Voor een tutorial, moet je eens op de DA account van Samantarobinson (of samantharobinson) kijken en dan naar haar site, staat een paar leuke tutorials waaronder gradient shading Ikweet alleen neit of die helpt ;D
Very cute picture, I can imagine it on a valentine's day card or balloon or something. Nice work. The sheets are okay, but on closer viewing it looks like a baby found a pot of jam and a wall P'raps just do the creasing around the character and not the rest of the drapery? I don't really know much about this kind of stuff, but from other pictures I've seen there's more folds around the character
